In short: The Fanvue Method is a 17-step content strategy built on gradual escalation: you move from the Cute intensity level toward Explicit across three distinct phases. Our first AI model used this system to make $1,510.31 in its first 28 days, starting from zero — and nearly 74% of that revenue came from PPV messages, not subscriptions.

Why "just posting" on Fanvue isn't enough

On Fanvue, "just posting" doesn't cut it. You need a system that keeps your audience's interest growing instead of fading. Creators who stick to one make money — the ones who don't burn out within a few weeks.

The typical beginner mistake looks like this: in week one, everything the model "has" goes out — the strongest images, the boldest content. By week two there's nowhere left to escalate, subscribers get bored, churn kicks in, and nobody buys PPV messages because they've already seen it all for free. The Fanvue Method is designed to avoid exactly this trap.

The method is a step-by-step strategy that tells you exactly what to post, in what order, and why. You don't have to invent anything — you just follow the system. The 17 steps are available on the AI OFM (AI OnlyFans Management) platform from the Insider plan up, together with the matching ready-made prompts. If you're just getting to know the model, start with the AI OFM beginner's guide and come back here afterwards. You can see the first three steps live, with practical examples and ready-to-use post captions, on the Fanvue Method page — for free.

What is gradual escalation, and why does it work?

Gradual escalation in one sentence: never give away all your content at once — there should always be a next level for the subscriber to look forward to. This isn't a manipulation trick; it follows from the platform's economics. Your revenue is decided in two places: retention and PPV conversion. The 17 steps are essentially a way to manage those two metrics, translated into content.

Think of it like a season of a TV show. If the first episode gives away the ending, nobody keeps watching. A good show leaves a question open at the end of every episode — and that's exactly what keeps viewers hooked. On Fanvue, that "open question" is the next intensity level: subscribers stay and pay because they know there's more to come.

Retention: subscribers stay because they're still waiting for something

Fanvue subscriptions renew monthly — but only if subscribers feel they haven't seen everything yet. If they get the strongest content on day one, there's no reason to stay by the end of the month. A gradual arc builds constant anticipation instead: every week they get a little more than the week before. In our first month, the Renewals line ($23.96) was still small — which is natural, since renewals only start picking up from month two. That's exactly why it pays to plan for retention from day one: your second month's revenue depends on whether you kept the "there's more to come" feeling alive in the first.

PPV conversion: the desire curve sets the price

A PPV (pay-per-view) message converts when the subscriber knows that what they're getting is stronger than what's on the wall. If your wall is already explicit, PPV has nowhere to escalate — and it doesn't sell. That's why the Fanvue Method always keeps public and subscriber content 1-2 intensity levels below your PPV. That gap is the basis of your pricing: the bigger the gap between wall and PPV, the higher the price a message can carry. It shows in the numbers: 73.8% of first-month revenue came from Messages/PPV. We've collected the exact pricing techniques in our PPV strategy article.

The three phases of the 17 steps

You'll find the full sequence on the platform, but the structure breaks down into three phases. Each has a different goal, a different intensity and a different focus:

PhaseStepsIntensityGoal
1. Free teaser phaseSteps 1–3CuteBuilding trust, first followers, driving traffic
2. Build-up phaseSteps 4–10Flirty → SensualConverting subscribers, building retention, first PPVs
3. Monetization phaseSteps 11–17Bold → ExplicitMaximizing PPV revenue, premium content

Steps 1–3: the free teaser phase

Nothing is behind a paywall yet. With Cute-level, fully SFW content, you build your model's face, style and follower base — mainly on TikTok and Instagram. The goal isn't revenue, it's traffic: the 503K views and 19K profile views we gathered in this phase later became the foundation of our paying audience. Rush this, and the other phases have no one to build on. We cover the practical side of getting traffic in our TikTok strategy article.

Steps 4–10: from tease to sensual

This is the longest phase. Some of your followers have already subscribed, and this is where you learn to manage the rhythm: you start at the Flirty level and move toward Sensual step by step. Every step tells you exactly which set comes next — down to the location, pose and outfit, built from the platform's 12 locations and 53 poses. This is also where your first lower-priced PPV messages appear, which show you who the committed buyers are. Don't chase revenue in this stage: the job is to set the rhythm and identify your best buyers.

Steps 11–17: bold and explicit — where the revenue happens

In the final phase, your wall content steps up to Bold and your PPV to Explicit. By now your subscribers have followed the arc for weeks, and they know exactly that every PPV gives them one level more than they've seen so far — which is why they buy. This phase needs explicit prompts, which are available on the platform from the Insider plan (400 explicit prompts), and all 1195 with Mogul. This phase generates the bulk of your revenue — but only if you've properly built the first two phases underneath it.

The five intensity levels: Cute → Flirty → Sensual → Bold → Explicit

The backbone of the method is the intensity scale. We've sorted all 53 poses on the platform into these five levels, so you never have to guess where a piece of content "belongs":

  • Cute — everyday, friendly, fully SFW. For free channels.
  • Flirty — playful, teasing, but still SFW. The start of your subscriber wall.
  • Sensual — sensual and suggestive. Subscriber wall and entry-level PPV.
  • Bold — daring, pushing boundaries. Later wall content and mid-range PPV.
  • Explicit — the strongest level. Only in PPV and premium offers.

The rule is simple: you can step down any time, but you only step up in the order of the steps. A Cute post fits fine in the monetization phase — it even humanizes the model — but an Explicit image in week one burns the whole arc. Mixing levels is a deliberate tool: a toned-down post in the middle of a Bold week gives your audience a breather, so the next escalation hits even harder. If you're still unsure about image generation, the AI prompt engineering guide helps you keep your levels consistent.

What did it bring in practice? The $1,510.31 breakdown

Following the Fanvue Method, our first model reached this result in 28 days, starting from zero (Fanvue pays in USD, so we measure in dollars):

Revenue streamAmountShare
Messages (PPV messages)$1,114.8173.8%
Posts (paid posts)$184.8812.2%
Subscriptions$168.8611.2%
Renewals$23.961.6%
Tips$17.801.2%
Total$1,510.31100%

Alongside that, the free teaser phase numbers: 503K views, 19K profile views, 24K likes and 2,632 shares in 28 days. Two lessons stand out:

  • The money is in the conversation, not the subscription. The subscription is just the entry ticket — nearly three quarters of revenue came from PPV messages. That's why it pays to invest time in chatting: we've written up the specific conversation techniques in our chatting strategy article.
  • Gradual escalation turns attention into measurable money. 503K views on their own are worth zero dollars. What turns them into revenue is that the 17 steps take viewers along the follower → subscriber → PPV buyer path, with the right content for every stage.

In the spirit of honesty: this is the one result we've documented — we don't promise you'll get exactly the same. But every step is reproducible, and Fanvue pays out 80% of revenue to you (20% is the platform's commission), so the numbers above show gross platform revenue. You can read the full case study, including the weekly breakdown, in our first-month case study.

How does the Fanvue Method fit into your daily routine?

The method isn't an 8-hour workday. A step usually lasts several days, and the daily tasks fall into three blocks:

  1. Morning (15–20 minutes): the post for your current step goes up on your Fanvue wall. Every step on the platform comes with ready-made prompts, so image generation isn't a planning task — it's execution.
  2. During the day (20–30 minutes): teaser content for TikTok and Instagram — this is your traffic engine. For new accounts, follow the Instagram/TikTok warmup plan so you don't get restricted.
  3. Evening (30–60 minutes): chatting and sending PPVs. This is the most important block of the day — it's where 73.8% of revenue comes from. In our experience (an estimate), the audience is most active in the evening, so that's also the best time to send PPVs.

On a weekly level, you only have one decision to make: can you move on to the next step? If engagement is stable at the current level and PPVs are selling, move on — if not, stay another day or two. The platform's workflow tracker shows where you are, and the calendar feature helps keep the three daily blocks on track. The whole routine fits into an hour and a half to two hours a day, and most of that time goes not into image generation but into chatting — because that's where the money is.

Which mistakes does the method protect you from?

  • Escalating too fast: if you're posting Bold content in week two, by week four there's nowhere left to go. The order of the steps is there to slow you down.
  • Random posting: without a plan, the intensity of your content jumps all over the place, the subscriber doesn't feel the arc — so a PPV doesn't feel like "more" either, and it doesn't sell.
  • Overdoing your free channels: if you go too bold on TikTok, you'll get restricted — and why would anyone pay for what they already get for free?
  • Subscription-centric thinking: if you only watch your subscriber count, you neglect the PPV channel that brings in 73.8% of revenue.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to go through the 17 steps of the Fanvue Method?+

There's no fixed pace, but each step usually takes several days, so the full arc covers roughly a month — our documented first month was 28 days. What matters isn't speed but order: only move on when engagement is stable at your current level and PPVs are selling. Going slower is fine; skipping steps isn't.

Do I have to create explicit content to use the Fanvue Method?+

Steps 1–10 are fully SFW: you can build your subscriber base and your first PPV revenue with Cute, Flirty and Sensual content. Steps 11–17 step up to Bold and Explicit — that's typically where most of the revenue comes from, but you set the pace and the limits. Explicit prompts are available on the platform from the Insider plan.

Which plan includes the Fanvue Method?+

The Fanvue Method is available on the AI OFM platform from the Insider plan (€59/month), with all 17 steps and the matching 1200 prompts. Mogul (€200 for the first 3 months, then €69/month) also includes all 1995 prompts, the video workflow and personal support.

Does the method work if I already have an active Fanvue profile?+

Yes — you just don't start from step 1. Check which intensity level your current content is at (Cute, Flirty, Sensual, Bold or Explicit), and join the arc at the matching step. The most common fix is restoring the gap between your wall and your PPV: if your wall is already explicit, it's worth dialing it back so your PPV has room to escalate again.
